(vasep.com.vn) Ngày 04/04/2025, Hải quan và Biên phòng Hoa Kỳ (CBP) ban hành bản tin CSMS #64649265, hướng dẫn về thuế bổ sung theo Lệnh Hành pháp ngày 02/04/2025 (“Điều chỉnh nhập khẩu bằng thuế quan đối ứng để khắc phục thâm hụt thương mại hàng hóa lớn và kéo dài nhiều năm của Hoa Kỳ”). Quy định có hiệu lực từ 12:01 sáng giờ EDT ngày 05/04/2025.

Sản phẩm này vốn đã bị lãng quên từ lâu nhưng hiện đang thu hút sự chú ý của cả các nhà hàng và người nấu ăn tại nhà. Các thí nghiệm ẩm thực với cá khô mở ra chân trời mới cho nền ẩm thực, và các chuyên gia cho rằng đây chỉ là sự khởi đầu.

Tuy nhiên, trong bối cảnh hội nhập quốc tế sâu rộng và yêu cầu ngày càng khắt khe về phát triển bền vững, việc chuyển đổi sang phát triển xanh không chỉ là một lựa chọn mà đã trở thành một yêu cầu sống còn để ngành tôm Việt Nam tiếp tục duy trì và nâng cao vị thế cạnh tranh trên thị trường quốc tế.
(vasep.com.vn) Ngày 2/4/2025 (rạng sáng 3/4/2025 giờ Việt Nam), Tổng thống Trump đã công bố sắc lệnh áp dụng thuế đối ứng với 180 nền kinh tế. Mục đích là nhằm giải quyết thâm hụt thương mại lớn, bảo vệ an ninh kinh tế và quốc gia, đồng thời tái thiết ngành sản xuất trong nước. Một mức thuế 10% sẽ được áp dụng chung cho tất cả các quốc gia từ ngày 5/4/2025. Các quốc gia có thâm hụt thương mại lớn nhất với Hoa Kỳ sẽ phải chịu mức thuế đối ứng cao hơn, có hiệu lực từ ngày 9/4/2025. Việt Nam chịu mức thuế 46%, cao hơn nhiều nước XK thủy sản cạnh tranh khác như Thái Lan (36%), Ấn Độ (26%), Indonesia (32%), Ecuador (10%)…

Những đổi mới này không chỉ giúp tăng năng suất mà còn góp phần bảo vệ môi trường, nâng cao chất lượng sản phẩm, và hướng đến một ngành công nghiệp bền vững hơn. Trong bối cảnh nhu cầu tôm toàn cầu ngày càng gia tăng, việc áp dụng các công nghệ tiên tiến sẽ đóng vai trò quan trọng trong việc duy trì sự ổn định và phát triển lâu dài của ngành.
(vasep.com.vn) Nga đã ký kết một thỏa thuận đánh bắt cá mới có thời hạn bốn năm với Morocco, thay thế cho thỏa thuận trước đó đã hết hạn vào cuối năm 2024.
Hiện nay, nhiều hộ ở vùng ven TP Cà Mau thực hiện mô hình nuôi cá tra khá hiệu quả, mang lại nguồn thu nhập ổn định. Khác với quy mô công nghiệp như ở các tỉnh trong khu vực, mô hình nuôi cá tra ở đây khá đơn giản, ít tốn chi phí, được xem là hướng đi triển vọng cho nông dân.
Giống thuỷ sản là đối tượng phục vụ nghề nuôi thuỷ sản, giúp tăng thu nhập cho nông dân. Tuy nhiên, thời gian qua, do môi trường nước ô nhiễm cùng với việc khai thác, đánh bắt theo cách huỷ diệt đã làm cho giống loài thuỷ sản ở môi trường tự nhiên gần như cạn kiệt.
Bán hàng vào Walmart là mục tiêu của nhiều DN, tuy có nhiều thách thức, nhưng thật sự không quá khó đối với những DN lớn, vì các DN này đã thường xuyên thực hiện các qui định về quản lý sản xuất, an toàn vệ sinh thực phẩm, và cũng đã có sẵn các chứng nhận quốc tế cần thiết. Hiện tại, trong tổng số trên 400 DN cá tra, chỉ có 6 DN cung cấp cá Tra vào thị trường Mỹ và cho Walmart do có mức thuế CBPG thấp nhất (0% - 0,18 USD/kg).
