(vasep.com.vn) Công ty công nghệ sinh học nuôi trồng thủy sản Benchmark Genetics vừa công bố đã phối hợp với sáu viện nghiên cứu hàng đầu châu Âu phát triển thành công bộ chỉ thị di truyền mật độ cao (SNP array) dành cho hai loài nghêu có giá trị kinh tế là nghêu Manila (Ruditapes philippinarum) và nghêu bản địa châu Âu (Ruditapes decussatus). Thành tựu này được kỳ vọng sẽ tạo nền tảng quan trọng cho phát triển bền vững ngành nuôi nhuyễn thể tại châu Âu.
(vasep.com.vn) Liên minh châu Âu (EU) đã quyết định tiếp tục đưa Ấn Độ vào danh sách các quốc gia được phép xuất khẩu sản phẩm nuôi trồng thủy sản, trứng, mật ong và vỏ bọc có nguồn gốc động vật sang thị trường 27 nước thành viên. Quyết định này giúp hàng hóa của Ấn Độ duy trì quyền tiếp cận thị trường EU sau tháng 9/2026, khi quy định nhập khẩu mới chính thức có hiệu lực.

Nguồn nguyên liệu ổn định, quy mô sản xuất ngày càng mở rộng cùng năng lực chế biến được cải thiện đang giúp cá rô phi Việt Nam từng bước khẳng định vị thế và nâng cao sức cạnh tranh trên thị trường thế giới.
(vasep.com.vn) Theo khảo sát mới do Talker Research thực hiện cho Viện Tiếp thị Thủy sản Alaska trên 2.000 người trưởng thành tại Mỹ, hơn một nửa người tiêu dùng cho biết họ thường chọn những bữa ăn cao cấp, hấp dẫn để “tự thưởng” sau một tuần căng thẳng. Có tới 58% người được hỏi xem đây là cách giúp cải thiện tâm trạng sau những ngày làm việc không thuận lợi.
(vasep.com.vn) Thị trường cá thịt trắng châu Âu tiếp tục ghi nhận diễn biến trái chiều khi giá cá haddock (cá êfin) tại Iceland liên tục lập mức cao kỷ lục, trong khi giá cá tuyết Đại Tây Dương (cod) điều chỉnh giảm sau giai đoạn tăng mạnh đầu năm. Tuy nhiên, mặt bằng giá cá tuyết vẫn cao hơn khoảng 30–40% so với cùng kỳ năm 2025 do nguồn cung toàn cầu còn hạn chế.

(vasep.com.vn) Thượng nghị sĩ Mỹ Dan Sullivan vừa trình Đạo luật Giảm đánh bắt ngoài ý muốn phiên bản sửa đổi, bổ sung nhiều quy định chặt chẽ hơn nhằm hạn chế tác động của nghề lưới kéo đến đáy biển, tăng tính minh bạch trong giám sát và giảm lượng thủy sản bị đánh bắt ngoài ý muốn.
(vasep.com.vn) Ngành tôm Ecuador vừa ký kết thỏa thuận hợp tác với Tổ chức Bảo tồn Thiên nhiên Quốc tế tại Ecuador nhằm thúc đẩy bảo tồn, phục hồi rừng ngập mặn và phát triển nuôi trồng thủy sản bền vững dọc bờ biển nước này. Thỏa thuận được công bố ngày 24/6 tại Guayaquil, với sự tham gia của Phòng Thương mại Nuôi trồng Thủy sản Ecuador và Đối tác Tôm bền vững, nằm trong khuôn khổ sáng kiến “Rừng ngập mặn vì khí hậu”.
