Bất chấp căng thẳng thương mại leo thang với Hoa Kỳ, ngành tôm Ấn Độ vẫn ghi nhận đà tăng trưởng mạnh trong năm tài chính 2026, theo Economic Times. Dữ liệu từ CareEdge Ratings cho thấy trong năm tháng đầu năm tài chính, xuất khẩu tôm của Ấn Độ tăng 18% về giá trị, lên 2,43 tỷ USD, và tăng 11% về khối lượng, đạt 348.000 tấn.
(vasep.com.vn) Từ ngày 8 đến 12/12/2025, Ủy ban Thủy sản Nga – Na Uy sẽ tiến hành vòng đàm phán quan trọng trong bối cảnh hoạt động khai thác cá tuyết tại Biển Barents đang chịu tác động lớn từ các biện pháp trừng phạt và căng thẳng chính trị. EU và Na Uy trước đó đã áp lệnh hạn chế đối với hai doanh nghiệp Nga là Norebo và Murman Seafood, làm gián đoạn truyền thống hợp tác và chia sẻ ngư trường giữa hai nước.

Trước đó, vào tháng 10/2025, Ủy ban Đa dạng Sinh học Quốc gia (Conabio), trực thuộc Bộ Môi trường, đã đưa cá rô phi vào Danh sách chính thức các loài ngoại lai xâm lấn. Việc phân loại này chưa đồng nghĩa với lệnh cấm nuôi, nhưng đã làm dấy lên tranh luận trong ngành, khi cơ quan môi trường cảnh báo rằng cá rô phi đang xuất hiện ở nhiều con sông ngoài vùng nuôi, có nguy cơ gây mất cân bằng sinh thái.

(vasep.com.vn) Nhập khẩu cá minh thái đông lạnh của Hàn Quốc trong tháng 10 đạt 6.391 tấn, giảm 61% so với mức 16.488 tấn của cùng kỳ năm 2023. Tính lũy kế 10 tháng đầu năm, Hàn Quốc nhập khẩu 101.521 tấn, thấp hơn 17% so với 121.625 tấn của cùng kỳ năm trước.
Sáng 2/12, Phó Thủ tướng Trần Hồng Hà, Phó Trưởng Ban Chỉ đạo quốc gia về chống khai thác hải sản bất hợp pháp, không báo cáo và không theo quy định (IUU) chủ trì phiên họp lần thứ 24 của Ban Chỉ đạo, kết nối trực tuyến với 21 tỉnh, thành phố ven biển.
